LESSON 1: Hoch die Pataphysik

Die wohldurchdachte Intimität der Grammatik durch das
Zeremoniell ihrer eigenen Teile zu zerstören ist einunddasselbe.
Das Verhältnis von Paradies und Papierkorb bleibt authentisch.
Heinrich errät die Welt, aber das macht nichts.

Die Beschreibung der Ewigkeit enthält nur die Wiederholung des
Zufalls. Oder: die Pataphysik ist der Einbruch des Humors in
die Metaphysik.

Ganz gleichgültig, was auch immer geschieht, so ist das eben.
Haben wir kein Mitleid mit jedem Künstler, der sich erschoß, als
er merkte, daß er an den Schaftstiefeln des Kaisers die Sporen
vergessen hatte.

Die Krankheit des gesunden Menschenverstandes wird überall
und nicht nur zu Lebzeiten durch das Radfahren geheilt werden
können. Mein Mittelscheitel ist mein Revolver.

Lassen wir alles beiseite und tun wir nicht so, als ob die
Tatsachen stimmten. Die Irrtümer bestätigen unseren
Zusammenhang. Ich für meinen Teil halte die Schwierigkeit für
die endgültige Lösung aller bisherigen Methoden.

Ich und der Schuhmacher beweisen, daß die Erde rund ist,
denn er repariert meine Absätze.

Jarry ist der Fortschritt unter den poetischen Erläuterungen. Er
erfand so viele Unterschiede.

Als Alfred Jarry merkte, daß seine Mutter eine Jungfrau war,
bestieg er sein Fahrrad.

Der Beischlaf ist das Libretto für den totalen Kult, ein Sport von
olympischer Qualität, die Pointe unseres Selbstbewußtseins. Er
ist der komplizierteste Weltrekord und deshalb nur annähernd
dem Speerwerfen vergleichbar. Aber auch das Tragen von
Aktentaschen, das öffentliche Aushändigen von Leitzordnern
oder der Gewinn von 148 Mark ist kein Unsinn.

Tja! sagt die Welt und geht zu Fuß zugrunde. Was mir gefällt,
gefällt mir ohne Welt. Solange es mich gibt, bin ich froh, daß es
mich gibt. Und dennoch denke ich nicht daran, solange es mich
gibt, daß es mich gibt.

LESSON 1: A cheer and a tiger to Pataphyiscs

Destroying the thought-out intimity of grammar through the
ceremonial of its own parts is just the same. The relation
between paradise and a trashcan remains authentic. Heinrich
guesses the world, yet that does not matter.

The description of eternity only inheres the reiteration of
fortuity. Or: Pataphysics is the irruption of humor into
Metaphysics.

No matter what happens, it is just like that. We must not

recognised that he had forgotten the spurs on the emperor's
bootlegs.

The malady of common sense will be healed everywhere and
not only in lifetime through bicycling. My center parting is my
revolver.

Let us leave aside everything and let us not pretend that facts
are true. Errors approve our liaison. I for my part regard the
difficulty for the ultimate solution of all methods so far.

Jarry is the progress amongst poetic elucidations. He invented
so many differences.
