venus transit 08/06/04
tomorrow morning is the time for watching the sky: on june 8,
2004, venus - the Earth's sister planet - passes in front of the sun as seen from the earth. this very rare event (no living person has ever seen it before!) lasts about 6 hours and will be visible from most of europe, africa and asia. the next opportunity to watch this will be in 105 years, which will not be within our lifetime (unless something unprecedented happens*); therefore watch out, enjoy and don't forget to wear special glasses! for more information click on the pic below:  ... comment
