the initial jubilee celebration (there will be more to come:) will take place on saturday,
18/10/2008 in the basement of the mormat cafe/bar/restaurant (vienna 4, mühlgasse 20),
starting at 11pm 'til very late - no admission fee! in a cozy atmosphere the djs
xbert, en masse, lizer m, phonuel + special guests
will spin uplifting tunes that coined the weitweitweg years.

the weitweitweg story so far

it all started in 1998, when my life-time wish to be "far far away" from wherever I am at the moment took concrete
shape and materialised in the foundation of the weitweitweg productions - a non-profit music label and one-man show that
successfully managed over the years to bring in line, and sometimes even unite my many, often torn apart personalities.
so what are the weitweitweg productions all about? well, first and foremost, it is all about music, a blend of rare, bizarre,
spooky, soulful, uplifting, psychedelic sound that evolved over time and that I would term 'geistamusik' ('ghosts' music). and
then, oh yes, there is the message. all music, and other forms of artistic expression created and played by the weitweitweg
members, be it xbert, en masse or gush, should ultimately focus on bringing pleasure to the audience. it should motivate
the people to dance, contribute to their happiness, and raise awareness for the conscious, self-directed and -responsible
life.
the weitweitweg productions can be called a quite fortunate and successful enterprise in this respect, as so far on many
occasions this mission has worked well. this gives hope that there will be many more uplifting experiences and events to
come.

friendly hosting. there'll certainly be better attended weitweitweg
gigs to come soon. let's keep it going!
